Vikas Parv programme on 2-years of Modi Govt

A large number of programmes mark the two years of Modi government at the Centre today; PM Modi to address a public rally at Saharanpur to launch the 'Vikas Parv' outreach programme to spread awareness among masses about welfare measures of the government. 
The rally to celebrate the second anniversary of the Union government will be a historic one, with BJP leaders working over time to draw around two lakh people from nearby districts. 

Arrangements are being made on 250 bighas of land along the Sharanpur-Delhi road for the rally. special arrangements have been put in also to counter the scorching heat . 

Meanwhile, in a gesture of goodwill, a farmer Raees Ahmad has offered eight acres of farming land for the rally. Ahmad had harvested his cane crop before ripening so that the rally can be conducted with ease there. He was offered compensation but refused to accept it. 

The rally is expected to be attended by several BJP bigwigs including party's national president Amit Shah. 

With the launch of 'Vijay Parv' many BJP leaders and Ministers will begin going out among the people to tell them about the achievements of government. 

The union ministers are expected to attend events across the state's major cities a day after PM Modi addresses the Saharanpur rally. 

A number of union ministers are also scheduled to attend programmes like press conferences and public meetings across the country on the anniversary day. 

16 May 2014: A historic day which would be remembered as it was for the first time that a non-Congress Government came to power with a huge mandate and overwhelming majority. 

BJP won 282 seats. Its best performance ever and with allies, the number of seats won by NDA was over 300. 

Narendra Modi on this day that is 26th May, two years ago, took over the reign of power at the Centre. A Government which got a huge mandate. 

Modi Government got into its act from 26th May when it invited Heads of Government of SAARC Countries to attend the swearing in ceremony and the very next day, PM Modi held bilateral talks with Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and revealed his intentions. 

PM Narendra Modi in his very first address from the ramparts of the Red Fort declared the country's biggest every financial services inclusion programme for the poor which includes opening zero balance bank accounts to insurance. 

The Gas Subsidy scheme is also among the biggest cash transfer programmes of the country. 

Make in India, Skill India, Digital India are such programmes which have proved to be a milestone in the direction of giving employment to the youth. 

Modi Government's Smart City is one such scheme which is an indicator of the all round development of our cities. 

The Modi Government also worked in the realm of social sectors as well. 

The Swachh Bharat Mission was started on the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, which became the country's biggest cleanliness drive. 

The launch of the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Abhiyan was an attempt to create social awareness to save the girl child and to educate her. Several insurance schemes have been launched for ensuring social security. 

The Crop Insurance Scheme (Fasal Bima Yojana)'s ambit was increased with an aim to improve the condition of farmers and Health Soil Card was also encouraged and promoted. 

Efforts made by the Modi Government has led to rise in public expectations and the Government by bringing programmes and policies in every sector has made effort to cater to those expectations. 

Now when the Government is completing two years, expectations and hopes have risen for the coming years.
